International $potted $tallion $ervice Auction

To purchase this stallion’s service, you are agreeing to and accepting the following terms and conditions.


This Notice of Terms and Conditions will be strictly adhered to by both the Stallion Owner and the Mare Owner. Your bid constitutes payment for one service to the chosen stallion. All other costs that may be incurred for the service are separate and apart from the International $potted $tallion $ervice Auction and must be negotiated directly between the stallion and mare owner.

  • The starting bid for each stallion is determined by the stallion owner as his Stud Fee. This “beginning bid” is shown on the stallion bid page and on the individual stallion’s information page. Subsequent bidding will be updated daily. Be sure to refresh/reload to view current bid amounts.


  • Bids will be accepted in $50.00 increments.


  • The amount of the Bid will be accepted in the order they are received.


  • Auction will begin January 16, 2008, and continue until March 31, 2008 at midnight.


  • At the close of auction, you will be billed via PayPal for the amount of your winning bid. Payment for accepted bid must be received on or before April 5, 2008 (5 days from close). If you need an alternative payment method, please note that in the comments section of the BID ON ME form.


  • Mares must arrive with a clean culture, current negative Coggins, Brand Inspection (if required) and Health Certificate and be up to date on all vaccinations, dewormings and hoof care. **We advise all mare owners to insure the mare(s) while out for servicing. Please inquire about area specific vaccination recommendations from the stallion owner, i.e. West Nile Virus, Strangles, etc.


  • The IMAPC Officers will arbitrate any disputed contracts, and their decisions will be final.


  • If a Stallion whose service has been purchased, is not able to fulfill the service, due to illness, death or sale, the Mare Owner will offered the following options: a) monies can be applied to another available stallion service, or b) a farm credit in the amount of your bid can be given by the Stallion owner.


  • If due to an unfortunate event, your Mare is unable to be bred to the stallion whose service you purchased, you may submit a substitute mare for approval to the Stallion owner.
LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE: 24 hours, stand & nurse. In the event your foal does not survive 24 hours, your vet certified death report must be submitted to the Stallion Owner, to exercise your breed back.

All Stallion and Mare Owners who participate in the 2008 International $potted $tallion $ervice Auction, agree to indemnify and hold harmless the IMAPC Board Members, and the IMAPC Club from all liability or claims, liens, and charges whether contractual or imposed by operation of law, demands, damages and costs for or arising out of this International $potted $tallion $ervice Auction.

By placing this bid, you realize that the Stallion owner reserves the right to approve all mares.

Upon the completion of the auction, the stallion owner needs to receive from the winner within 24 hours of bidding, by email, fax or telephone; a full body picture of your mare and any pertinent details needed to approve mare for service to stallion. Auctioneer will immediately send them this form. You must contact the stallion owner within 24 hours of your win to work out the details of your mare’s service. (mare care, time frame, etc.)

Clicking the submit button at the bottom of this form, confirms the intent of the bidder to create a legally binding contract.

Please be aware, in the time frame it takes to process your bid, simultaneous offers may be considered. You must watch the website for updated bidding and adjust your bid accordingly by resubmitting this form as a new bid.
