Yes, we had a gorgeous filly arrive on 6/30/10. Her sire is "A Model Black Hawk" & her dam is "Sonita Buck Me A Miracle". Both parents can be seen on our website www.4andromedfarm.com . She foaled at 21" & has all the appy characteristics, but no spots at this time. Andromeda Farm is proud to introduce "Andromeda Black Hawks Annalise". I have one more due at any time "Mini Lanes Maggie Mae", she was bred to "Andromeda Starry Knight", my blue roan leopard stallion.

Thanks Diane. We think she is gorgeous, but it is nice to know that others think so too. We have been working to get our first apploosa foals for about 4 years (trying to get the right mares to go with our stallion, not rushing). I think that the 2 mares we bred to "A Model Black Hawk" have both had stunning babies. Naturally they are both daughters of champions, which doesn't hurt. Both foals have made our dreams come true.

Well she is gorgeous! And there is nothing like a black appaloosa mare for breeding to color. They seem to produce the most awesome colored babies. I never cry at a black appaloosa mare. And she's full of characteristics that will define her babies in the future!
